You might even want to score yourself out of 10 for each one to see where you might improve in your self care.
Connection is incredibly important. We can easily fall into the trap of becoming a human-doing rather than living as a human-being. When our life becomes a list of to-dos then we can start to see people as something that needs doing too.
Interactions can quickly become frustrating because we feel that we should be out there ‘doing’ something rather than wasting time talking with someone. This type of thinking however is a sure way to reduce the quality of our interactions and the connection we feel. Our ability to connect with people reduces the chance of feeling lost or overwhelmed so it’s important to prioritise this aspect of our lives.
