"Mental Health Aware" is the Gold standard of 1/2 day Online Mental Health Courses. Delivered by experienced instructors trained by Mental Health First Aid England CIC __________ Course Overview This course raises awareness of mental health. It covers:
What mental health is and how to challenge stigma
A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues
An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing
Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue
Cost £75 pp (Reduced from RRP125pp) Includes free MHFA reference book and workbook, which will be posted.
Date & Time 26th June 10am to 1:30pm Log in will be from 9:30 to test that all cameras and microphones are working.
Format This is an online course delivered online through ZOOM. You will need to have access to a computer with a microphone and a camera, or alternatively you can download ZOOM on your smartphone. Learning takes place through live training sessions and self-learning activities. All attendees will be given a ZOOM code and password the day before the event.
Everyone who completes the course gets: A certificate of attendance to say you are Mental Health Aware. A manual to refer to whenever you need it. A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health.
